Orientation and Tutor Training Workshops Dates |

Volunteer Orientations serve as an introduction to Literacy Kansas City, the issues of illiteracy, and the opportunities available for volunteers. To register, contact Shelley at 816.333.9332.
- Saturday, August 16, 2008 9:30AM-11:30AM
Tutor Training Workshops prepare volunteer tutors to work one-to-one with functionally illiterate adults. Attendance is required at all days of a training session to become a certified tutor. There is a $35 registration fee, $10 of which is refundable upon resigning as a tutor and returning your textbooks.
